HERE GOES NOTHING...

As I look back on a lot of my choices and decisions in life, I realize a lot of it was not what I wanted but what was expected and what the inexperienced society-pleasing part of me wanted. I don't have all the answers, but after years of self-reflection and much trial and error, I have realized that listening to your inner voice, your passions and beliefs is more important than what your parents think, what your friends think and what you think will please most people.

I have wanted to start this blog for some time now, always worrying about my first post, what direction I would take it in, what it would look like, what people would think...  Now I realize it doesn't have to be perfect, I don't have to have it all figured out.

We are expecting a daughter this May, so I am in the process of designing her nursery, as well as turning my son's room into a big boy's room. This blog will be a place for me to share the things I love, the best of the best from around the web, my design inspirations, and a place to document the process of this and other projects of my ever-evolving home. Hope you enjoy and follow along!

To start, here is a peak into my son's current nursery...

xoxo,
Katy.
